‘Pain’ series: 1997 – 2002

These are acrylics and/or oil on canvas, paper and pressed wood. There is a suggestion of human forms and sometimes, in metaphor, it is Nature which is suffering as in ‘Struggle to Survive’ or ‘Nuclear Explosion’ (Pakistan’s first experiment), which disturbed me deeply in sympathy for our Earth’s ‘agony’.
